Today, Feather River Hospital is a 101-bed facility offering compassionate care along with advanced technology. In 1994, the hospital opened The Birth Day Place, now one of the most highly desired birthing facilities in the North State. In 2003 the hospital opened the Cancer Center, which boasts top radiology and oncology equipment for cancer treatment. The hospital's Paradise Hospice facility, built in the same year, is the only one of its kind in the region offering inpatient and in-home support to those considering end-of-life decisions.
